One word. Macarons. If you’re planning a cake smash and you’re not sure your child will understand what to do with it…trust me when I say that Macarons are your best friend. P’s Macarons in Horseheads, New York makes the most delicious and beautiful cookies for our 1 year cake smash sessions! Every baby in the studio has LOVED them and is able to hold onto them so much easier than a giant cake! They add a nice touch and make for some great photos too. SO…let’s get to the real star of the show, Ezra. The sweetest boy and the best eater I’ve ever met. He devoured the macs and dug into the cake at the end. Safe to say it was probably his favorite part of turning one.
